Example of Finished Metal Recording Using Free VST Guitar Plugins in Reaper || The Sharp See

This song was recorded entirely with free VST plugins in Reaper, using a Focusrite Scarlett interface. Drums were programmed using MT Power Drum Kit2. I will upload a couple videos detailing how this was done in Reaper and how I used each plugin mentioned below.

Distorted Guitar Signal Chain (Rhythm):

Custom built singlecut with Seymour Duncan JB/Jazz combo

Focusrite Scarlett Solo

Greed Smasher VST (mercuriall.com)

Le456 VST (lepouplugins.blogspot.com)

NADIR IR Loader with Randall SM58/Marshall SM57 blend

Reaper DAW (reaper.fm)

Bass Guitar Chain:

Rogue Series III 5-string (THE cheapest)

BOD VST (http://www.tseaudio.com/software/tseBOD)

SHB-1 VST (https://www.kvraudio.com/product/shb-1-by-ignite-amps)

NadIR Convolver with Ampeg 8×10 and SM57 (link above)

Clean, Lead, Rhythm, and Bass Guitar plugins and settings are listed and linked in the how-to videos for each of those tracks on my channel.

Hi Folks! I am a guitarist from Columbus, Ohio, USA, and have started this channel as a creative outlet for what is a side project to my normal life. I’ve started exploring home recording, and am learning by doing, feel free to spectate and laugh along the way!

If you think it’s the best thing that has ever existed, you can find my music at sennata.bandcamp.com, and pay what you want (including nothing at all!)
